About this service:
Neuromodulators, such as Botox and Xeomin, are purified proteins that inhibit facial muscles from activity that cause wrinkles. Treatment involves a series of artfully placed injections that temporarily relax wrinkle-causing muscles.
Treatment Areas:
The most popular cosmetic treatment area is the face; injected into specific facial muscles, this will help achieve a smoother, more relaxed, and youthful appearance. Specific areas include:
- Forehead, brow area, and frown lines
- Crows feet
- Neck area
Neuromodulators can also be used for effective treatment of hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating), migraines, TMJ and bruxism (teeth grinding/clenching).
Preparation, Recovery & Results:
Procedure time is approximately 15 minutes and can be repeated as needed, typically every 3-4 months. There is no downtime for this procedure, and results can be visible 3-10 days after treatment. Important to note: remain upright and avoid touching or rubbing the area for 4-5 hours following the treatment. Avoid exercise for 24 hours.
